Step by step from idea to a refined logo

Briefing

Before we start designing, we need to clearly identify our goals. A profound investigation helps to avoid many corrections in the coming stages. To make an excellent logo, we need to determine the most important parameters of your brand. We will discuss the brand's target audience, analyse different examples of logos, define the company's key values and create a set of references.

Moodboards

A moodboard is a collage of ideas (graphics, photographs, textures and other images), with a look and feel that matches our project. Depending on the logo package you select we will develop 1-2 mood boards showing different logo styles. We will discuss them with you and choose one or multiple styles that will work for your business or brand.

Concept Development

Once we've agreed on the style and art direction, we'll move on to sketching out the logo concepts. Sometimes it turns out to be enough to draw just one variant of the logo and then modify it if needed. And sometimes you need to compare 2-3 different concepts to be able to choose the best one for your company or brand.

Refinement

At this stage we refine the sketch into the final logo. We determine the color palette, adjust the font and present the look and feel of the logo on different media, e.g. business cards, packaging or on corporate uniforms. This will help you make sure that the design really achieves its goals.

Adjustment for different media

It is important that your logo works in both large and small sizes. For websites, you would often use the horizontal version, while icons and stamps require a compact logo that can fit into a circle or rectangle. A full-color logo can be easily used on the web, while for printing on T-shirts or caps you rather need a simple black-and-white version. We always prepare a whole set of assets for you to choose the right file depending on the application!

Export

The logo is ready and you get a folder with working files. Each file is provided on a transparent and colored background and in several different formats. No matter where you will use the logo - on a website, business card or on social media - you will have a file in the appropriate format at hand.
